چکیده
A lipoma is a common benign tumor of mesenchymal origin that can arise in any location where fat is normally present, with incidence of approximately 16% of all mesenchymal tumors. However, submuscular lipomas under the pectoralis major muscle are rare. And, because lipomas tend to be small, large lipomas are specifically called ‘giant lipoma.’ Giant lipoma is defined as a lipoma that is greater than 10 cm in any direction or greater than 1,000 g in weight [1]. desmoid tumors. Neurovascular compression by a subpectoral lipoma. A case report of a rare cause of thoracic outlet syndrome.
BACKGROUND Lipomas are benign soft tissue tumours, progressively expanding in volume. Beside frequent aesthetic consequences, lipomas can also exert pressure on surrounding tissues and structures. MATERIALS AND METHODS A case of a subpectoral infraclavicular lipoma compressing the axillo-subclavicular neurovascular bundle, produced unilateral brachialgia, thereby simulating a Thoracic Outlet ...

A 70-year-old male patient was presented with a huge swelling measuring 35 cm in maximum dimension, in the front of the neck, reaching up till the umbilicus. The swelling was painless, slow growing and acquired the huge size in approximately 20 years. Ultrasound and CT scan...
